At Center Stage, we believe dance should be a fun and rewarding experience!
We look forward to sharing our passion for dance with our students.
Students will acquire professional training from experienced instructors.
Our goal is for dancers to reach their potential in a positive learning
environment.

About the Director
Michelle has had more than 20 years of dance experience and 10 years of teaching experience. After earning a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University, she went on to complete a Master's of Education at Texas A&M University. At Sam Houston State University, she choreographed dances for the spring show and danced in ChoDance Company. She was a member of Chi Tau Epsilon, a national dance honor society. She has taught all ages of students in a variety of dance forms. Michelle has choreographed several award-winning routines at national dance competitions. Michelle has studied under Dana Nicolay (former dancer of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Dayton Ballet, Jonathan Smith (former Broadway Dancer in A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar, and many others), and Jennifer Pontius (former member of Pacific Dance Ensemble and Birmingham Ballet).
Before opening Center Stage, Michelle taught several classes as well as competitive teams at Dance Connection in Huntsville and Premiere Dance Academy in College Station.

About the Studio
Center Stage is located on Highway 183 just
past Blockhouse Creek. We have a dance shop located inside the studio
for your convenience. Our lobby has a viewing mirror and viewing door for you to observe your children taking classes. The large studio room has 14 foot ceilings to accomodate cheerleading stunts, wall to wall mirrors, and a professional Halequin Allegro floor. Our second studio room has wall to wall mirrors, ballet barres, and a professional marley dance floor.
